FT2 Training
The majority of training on FT2 happens on production with trainees being attached to crews and learning from them. In addition to this apprenticeship-like training model FT2 trainees attend short course training provided by industry recognised training providers.
Camera assistant trainees will attend the following courses:
Induction training including: Manual Handling run by Osteopaths for Industry; and Health and Safety Training run by Hannonmedia Ltd.
A technical introductory course run by VET (Video Engineering Training).
Business Skills training run by VET.
Each trainee will attend one grade specific short course or masterclass e.g. 16/35mm loading and camera assembly courses at Panavision or a digital camera course run by VET.
