FT2 Training
The majority of training on FT2 happens on production with trainees being attached to crews and learning from them. In addition to this apprenticeship-like training model FT2 trainees attend short course training provided by industry recognised training providers.
Art department trainees will attend the following courses:
Induction training including: Manual Handling run by Osteopaths for Industry; and Health and Safety Training run by Hannonmedia Ltd.
A technical introductory course run by VET (Video Engineering Training).
Business Skills training run by VET.
Each trainee will attend one grade specific short course or masterclass e.g. Technical drawing provided by FDI and also by National Short Course Training Programme (National Film School)
