FT2 - Film and Television Freelance Training is the leading training provider for people who wish to become freelance assistants in the production and technical areas of the United Kingdom's film and television industry.
Established in 1985, FT2 is a non profit making company limited by guarantee with charitable status and receives funding from the Skillset TV Freelance Fund and the Skillset Film Skills Fund which is supported by the National Lottery through the UK Film Council and film industry through the Skills Investment Fund and directly from independent production companies.
FT2 - Film and Television Freelance Training is the only national provider of training for people seeking to establish a freelance career in the junior technical and production grades of the film and television industry.

FT2 has trained over 300 people to date and many of them have progressed to the senior craft, technical and production jobs in the industry.
