Mary completed FT2 training in 2004 as an Art Department Assistant. She comments:
"FT2's is a long apprenticeship in which to gather many skills, meet many people and ideally build up a good reputation. This will be across an unusually wide range of TV/film. Special and relevant training is built in as well, which is always of a high quality, adding extra skills and also a chance to spend time with industry practioners as well as other FT2 colleagues, building a wider support network, which is very much needed at times with long hours etc etc. It's good fun, you need to be extremely dedicated, take things in your stride and be very aware of your environmnent. Empathy and helpfulness are essential."
