MATT STREATFIELD - Assistant Editor
Credits include: "Atonement", "Mister Lonely" and"Sixty Six" (feature films), "Murphy's Law", "Trial and Retribution (TV drama) and "A Complete History of My Sexual Failures" (feature documentary).
Matt completed FT2 in 2003 as an Assistant Editor.
Matt says that before FT2, "The closest I got to working in the tv/ film industry was gaining unpaid work experience on short films and paid work on corperate videos. I was a film junkie. I organised midnight film screenings in my parents living room, storyboarded my dream film projects, made short films in the forest with friends and went on every local village film course that was available."
He thinks that "FT2 is THE best training to kickstart a freelance career in this country's film and tv industry."
His advice to trainees: "Ask as many questions as you can and seek to develop good working relationships. FT2 gives you the skills, experience and contacts to make a career in the film industry. You need to bring the love and the hard graft."
