Helen completed FT2 training in 1999 as an Assistant Editor.
Before FT2 Helen says she "did every short course in London to get some kind of film experience, also desperately trying to get in either as a Runner or Work Experience, as well as working as a Trampoline Coach!"
She comments, "This business is tough before, during and after getting a foot in the door or even securing your first contract. Competition is fierce, but as long as one doesn't have any financial or family commitments and has plenty of determination and stamina, then some success is possible. You have to love the film industry to obsession!!"
